Credit, refunds and withdrawal
How prepaid credit, refunds and the right of withdrawal work on EMT Compute. These rules form part of the terms of service.
1. Credit does not expire
Purchased credit stays on the account without expiry and decreases only with actual usage. When a resource terminates, the reserved but unused part is immediately available again, with no later balancing charge to the Customer except documented corrections.
2. Consumer right of withdrawal
A Consumer may withdraw from each top-up within 14 days of it being credited, without giving reasons, under arts. 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). By launching a resource within that period the Consumer expressly requests immediate performance: on withdrawal only the amount for the service already used is due (art. 57(3)) and the remaining credit of that top-up is refunded.
To withdraw, send an explicit statement to info@emtaerospacetechnologies.com, for example: “I withdraw from the top-up of [date], payment reference [reference], account [email or customer code]”. The refund is made within 14 days of receipt, to the original payment method, at no cost to the Consumer.
3. Refunds for service problems
If a resource never becomes usable, stops because of the infrastructure or EMT, or is charged by mistake, the charged time that could not be used is credited back. Report the problem to support with the order reference within 60 days: EMT checks allocation, duration and the operator’s statement and communicates the outcome.
4. Account closure
On account closure a Consumer receives a refund of purchased, unused credit. For a Business, credit is not refundable, except for charging errors, causes attributable to EMT, termination following a change of terms (section 14 of the terms of service) or where the law provides otherwise. Promotional credit is never convertible into money.
5. How refunds are made
Refunds are made to the original payment method, in the payment currency and in proportion to the USD credit it generated, through the payment provider. When they appear on a statement depends on the card network. Currency conversion fees charged by the Customer’s bank are outside EMT’s control.
6. Payment disputes
Before opening a dispute with your bank, contact support: most issues are solved with an immediate credit. While a dispute is open the account may be limited to block new rentals, to protect both parties; running resources are not stopped without notice unless there is a risk of fraud.
